Finding wire rope suppliers in the UAE starts with a clear purchase requirement. A replacement crane rope, a finished lifting sling, and rope supplied by the reel call for different suppliers and different quotation details.
This guide compares eight companies whose official sites show a UAE presence and a relevant wire rope range or service. The list includes a Dubai rope manufacturer, local dealers, lifting specialists and a crane service provider. Use the comparison to find suitable companies, then send each one the same specification and documentation requirements.
The list is a sourcing guide, not a ranking of quality or delivery performance. Confirm availability and suitability for your particular order with the supplier.

Verified UAE Wire Rope Suppliers
The company and group sources below were checked on October 28, 2026. They document the stated locations and product categories; they are not factory audits or confirmation of current stock.
Brunton Wire Ropes FZCo.
Brunton Wire Ropes FZCo. operates a steel wire rope manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, according to its parent group, Usha Martin. It is the manufacturing source in this comparison; most other companies here supply rope or related services without claiming to make the underlying rope.
Usha Martin lists crane, oil and gas, general engineering, fishing, dredging and elevator applications for the Dubai facility. Ask about the construction for your particular duty and provide the original specification for a replacement. Production availability and the documents supplied with your order still need confirmation.
Carl Stahl UAE
Carl Stahl lists UAE contacts in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its published range covers crane and industrial ropes, including hoisting, trolley, boom hoist and pendant ropes, as well as stainless steel wire ropes.
This range is useful when a machine uses ropes for different functions. Name the rope’s duty and the equipment model in your RFQ; “crane rope” alone leaves too much open. If you are considering stainless steel for a corrosive environment, have the proposed construction and performance checked against the equipment specification rather than treating it as a direct substitute for carbon steel rope.
Dutest
Dutest lists offices in Dubai Investments Park and Abu Dhabi. It supplies wire rope, steel wire rope slings, grommet slings and related fittings, and publishes inspection and testing services.
This makes Dutest a practical enquiry for a purchase that combines rope with a finished sling or other lifting gear. Put the reel of rope and each completed assembly on separate RFQ lines. For a sling, give the finished length, end fittings, and required rated capacity; ask which assembly work and documents the quotation includes.
Liftek FZC
Liftek FZC is based in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. Its steel wire rope page lists Bridon high-performance ropes, drill lines, general-purpose ropes and lubricants. The company also provides spooling, lubrication and inspection services.
If your replacement project needs rope handling as well as supply, send the reel or drum details and required length with your enquiry. Ask Liftek to price any spooling or site service separately and confirm the scope and schedule of each item. A rope quotation should not be assumed to include work at the equipment.
Roma Enterprises
Roma Enterprises is a marine equipment and rigging supplier in Deira, Dubai. Its site lists steel wire rope, wire rope slings, and rigging hardware.
Roma may fit a marine stores order that combines rope with slings or fittings. State the duty and environment for the rope, then list each finished assembly separately. Avoid the vague request “marine-grade rope”: give the construction, finish, and any required brand or document package so the supplier can identify the offered product.
M. Hussain & Bros. LLC
M. Hussain & Bros. lists a shop in Deira, Dubai, and a warehouse in Sharjah. It deals in industrial and oilfield products and names Brunton wire ropes among its range, alongside lifting and rigging equipment.
This dealer may fit an order for a named rope brand with related hardware. Give the exact manufacturer designation if your maintenance procedure requires it, and have the offered item identified in writing. If the dealer proposes an alternative, compare its full rope specification with the approved one before accepting it; a matching brand or diameter is not enough.
NSGT
NSGT is an industrial supplier in Bur Dubai. Its site lists stainless steel wire rope, fibre-core and steel-core rope, products described as rotating or non-rotating, and wire rope slings with different leg arrangements.
For an industrial rope or sling enquiry, identify the construction and core rather than asking only for one of those broad categories. If the offer describes a rope as “non-rotating,” request its full designation and technical data. That label alone does not establish compatibility with a crane or hoist.
Trinity Cranes
Trinity Cranes lists a division in Al Quoz, Dubai. Its crane spare parts page includes wire rope, rope guides, and hook blocks. This is a narrower use case than the general rope ranges above: the company is relevant when wire rope forms part of an overhead crane or hoist maintenance job.
Send the equipment model, original rope designation, and available drawings. Ask whether its offer covers the rope alone or also replacement work. The published parts list does not establish a general bulk or marine rope range.
Which Supplier Fits Your Application?

Crane and hoist replacement
Start with the equipment manufacturer’s rope specification. Record the rope’s function, reeving arrangement, drum and sheave details, and operating conditions before seeking a replacement. Our guide to choosing crane wire rope helps you gather those details.
Rotation-resistant constructions need particular care. A seller’s “non-rotating” label does not mean zero rotation, and a swivel must not be added without approval for the rope and equipment. Compare the proposed designation with the original and read about rotating and non-rotating wire rope before asking the equipment or rope manufacturer to approve a change.
Marine and offshore work
State whether the rope will lift, tow, moor, or serve another duty; those uses can require different constructions and end arrangements. Describe saltwater exposure and any specified finish or lubrication. A claim of “corrosion resistance” is not a substitute for the material and rope specification your project requires.
Oil and gas projects
Identify the task, such as drilling or lifting, and send the project specification with your first enquiry. Oilfield rope is not one interchangeable category. Compare the proposed construction and its traceability and documents against the same requirements before comparing prices.
Construction and general industry
For routine purchasing, ask local dealers and lifting suppliers to quote against the same specification. A finished sling also needs its configuration, length, and end fittings. If the rope specification is still open, use a wire rope selection checklist before comparing offers.

What to Specify When Requesting a Steel Wire Rope Quote
A request for steel wire rope with a diameter and quantity leaves several important details open. Give every supplier the same information so you can compare equivalent offers.
| RFQ field | What to provide |
| Application and equipment | Rope duty, equipment maker and model, operating conditions and original specification where available |
| Diameter | Nominal diameter and any required tolerance |
| Construction | Full strand and rope designation; attach the original data sheet or drawing if available |
| Core | Fibre, wire strand or independent wire rope core; copy the original core code (for example FC, IWS or IWR) exactly |
| Strength and breaking force | Specified tensile grade in MPa and minimum breaking force of the complete rope in kN, where required |
| Finish and lubrication | Galvanized or ungalvanized finish and the required lubrication or protection |
| Lay and rotation requirements | Lay direction, lay type and the required rotation characteristics |
| Length and packaging | Length per piece or reel, number of pieces, cutting requirements and reel restrictions |
| Terminations | End fitting type, dimensions, finished assembly length and drawing requirements |
| Documents | Applicable specification, traceability, test documents and project inspection requirements |
| Commercial details | Quantity, UAE delivery address, required date and the scope of supply |
Do not confuse tensile grade, rope minimum breaking force and a finished sling’s working load limit. They describe different things and use different units. The rope’s breaking force does not by itself establish the sling’s rated capacity. Our guide to steel wire rope tensile strength and MBL explains the terms.
For terminated ropes, specify the complete assembly rather than buying fittings separately and assuming compatibility. Include the required wire rope fittings in the drawing or bill of materials.
You can use this wording in your enquiry:
“Please quote against the attached rope specification. Confirm the manufacturer, full rope designation, core, tensile grade, minimum breaking force, finish, length, and any end fittings. List the included documents, availability, delivery terms and quotation validity. Flag any deviation for approval before substitution.”
What Documents Should You Request?
Ask for documents that identify the rope you will receive. A generic brochure or an ISO 9001 management system certificate does not replace records for the ordered product.
Depending on your project, request the manufacturer’s rope or test certificate, the applicable specification, and a reel or batch identifier that links the delivery to those records. For a finished sling, request its assembly identification and working load limit (WLL), along with any required assembly certificate. Put third-party inspection or witnessed testing in the purchase order if the project calls for it.
Check the certificate against the order for diameter, construction, grade and finish. Check delivered length against the reel label or delivery record, and resolve discrepancies before acceptance. Our wire rope certification guide explains further checks. The equipment owner or project specification determines the final document package.
Local UAE Supplier or Overseas Supply?
A local supplier may be the right choice for an urgent replacement or work that needs a UAE service visit. Ask whether the exact construction and length are available now, and whether cutting or termination adds time.
Overseas supply may suit planned replenishment, repeat specifications, or a larger consolidated order. Compare total landed cost, lead time, import responsibilities, and the documents included. Price cutting, termination, and inspection separately if you need them.
The same buyer may use a local source for an urgent repair and an overseas source for planned reel purchases. Compare written offers against the same technical scope.
Sourcing Wire Rope from a China-Based Supplier for UAE Projects
Powerful Machinery is a Qingdao-based manufacturer of rigging and lifting products and a supplier of steel wire rope to international buyers. If you are sourcing for a UAE project, you can discuss overseas supply with us alongside your local purchasing options.
Our catalogue lists galvanized and ungalvanized steel wire rope, including 6×7, 6×19 and 6×37 constructions, line-contact constructions, elevator ropes and multilayer ropes in its non-rotating category. Availability and specifications vary by item. Review the steel wire rope range and send your full designation for confirmation.
We also offer wire rope fittings and rigging hardware. For a combined quotation, send us your specification, application, quantity, delivery destination, and document requirements. We can then identify the proposed products and quote the order terms.
FAQs
Are all wire rope suppliers in the UAE manufacturers?
No. Some manufacture rope, while others distribute rope, supply lifting equipment or make finished assemblies from purchased rope. Ask who manufactures the offered rope and where it is made. Making slings does not by itself establish that a company manufactures the underlying wire rope.
Can I replace a crane rope with one of the same diameter and breaking force?
Not on those two values alone. Construction, core, lay, rotation behaviour and compatibility with the drum, sheaves and end fittings also matter. Give the original rope designation to the supplier and seek approval from the equipment or rope manufacturer for any substitute.
Do UAE wire rope suppliers hold every size in stock?
Do not assume so. Ask for written availability against your exact specification, quantity and required delivery date. Separate stock confirmation from cutting, termination, testing and transport schedules.
What evidence should come with a finished wire rope sling?
Ask for the sling’s identification and WLL, a record of its rope and end fittings, and the certificate or test record required by your project. Check that the assembly configuration and length match the order. An ISO 9001 certificate for the supplier is not a substitute for assembly records.
Before You Place Your Order
Shortlist suppliers by the rope or assembly you need. Give them one approved specification, then compare the offered construction, documents, scope, and delivered cost. For a replacement, have any deviation approved before ordering. A clear RFQ makes the quotes comparable and helps you avoid buying a rope that cannot be used on the equipment.
