Choose an existing product for branding and packaging, adapt a standard design, or develop a drawing-based component. Final availability, load rating and compliance scope are confirmed during design review.
Bow, dee, screw-pin, bolt-type and special-geometry shackles can be reviewed for material, pin style, dimensions, finish, marking and packaging requirements.
Custom programs may cover clevis and eye hooks, grab hooks and slip hooks, self-locking hooks, master links, connecting links, swivels, eye bolts and other load-rated connection points.
Jaw-jaw, eye-eye, hook-eye, swage and project-specific configurations can be reviewed for thread, take-up, end fitting, material, finish and inspection requirements.
Programs can include wire rope clips, wire rope thimbles, sockets, sleeves, swivels and related fittings, supplied as components or as part of an approved assembly.
Chains, Components and Assemblies

Choose the Right Manufacturing Route
Not every OEM project needs a new forging die. We start with the least complex route that can meet the approved requirement, because unnecessary tooling adds cost and time without adding value.
Private Label From an Existing Product
Best when a current size, material and performance specification already fits your market. The project focuses on approved markings, labels, packaging, document language and order quantities. This is usually the most direct route to a branded product line.
Modified Standard Product
Best when the base product is suitable but an interface, dimension, finish, marking or package needs to change. Engineering reviews whether existing tooling can be adapted and which new checks are required before a sample is released.
Drawing-Based Custom Component
Best for a unique geometry, equipment interface or performance requirement. This route normally needs a controlled drawing, design-for-manufacturing review, dedicated tooling or fixtures, first-article approval and a project-specific quality plan. Load-rated use is confirmed only against the approved design, test scope and documentation.
Our 7-Step OEM Rigging Hardware Process
Every project follows the same decision gates, but the details depend on the product and its intended use. A standard private-label item may move quickly to marking and packaging approval. A new forged part may require design-for-manufacturing review, dedicated tooling, first-article samples and a project-specific inspection plan.
1. NDA and Project Intake
If your drawings, samples or product plans are confidential, we can put an NDA in place before technical files are exchanged. We then record the product, application, target market, quantities, timing and document requirements.
2. Engineering and Design Review
Our team reviews geometry, material, heat treatment, working requirements, finish, markings, target standard, test scope and annual demand. If a detail creates unnecessary cost or production risk, we raise it before tooling begins and agree the revision with you.
3. Quotation, MOQ and Project Plan
The quotation separates product cost, tooling, samples, testing, packaging and commercial terms where applicable. MOQ and lead time are tied to the approved manufacturing route, not presented as generic promises.
4. Tooling and Process Development
Where the part requires a new die, mold, gauge or fixture, the tooling scope is quoted and approved before manufacture. Trial parts are checked against the controlled drawing before the project advances.
5. Sample or First-Article Approval
You receive a sample or first article for dimensional, functional, finish, marking and packaging approval as required. The signed-off sample and drawing become the production reference. Later changes are reviewed for their effect on tooling, cost, testing and lead time.
6. Controlled Production and Quality Assurance
Quality checks follow the approved specification and inspection plan. Depending on the product and target standard, records may cover raw-material verification, dimensions, heat treatment, surface finish, visual inspection, marking, traceability and load or proof testing.
7. Branded Packing, Shipment and Repeat Orders
Approved labels, cartons, pallet marks and export packing are checked before shipment. Repeat orders use the controlled drawing, sample reference and agreed quality plan so changes remain visible and batch consistency is easier to manage.

What is the difference between OEM and private-label rigging hardware?
OEM manufacturing usually follows your drawing, specification or equipment interface. Private label usually starts with an existing or adapted product that is supplied with your brand, marking and packaging. A project can include both.
Can you sign an NDA before we send drawings?
Yes. If the project is confidential, request the NDA before proprietary drawings, samples or product plans are exchanged.
Do we need a finished drawing to start?
Not always. A reference sample, marked-up photo or performance brief can start the review. A controlled drawing and specification must be approved before tooling or production is released.
Which rigging products can be customized?
Typical projects include shackles, hooks, master and connecting links, lifting points, turnbuckles, wire rope fittings, chains, selected assemblies and related branded packaging. Feasibility is confirmed during review.
How is the MOQ decided?
MOQ depends on tooling, material batch, production route, finish, testing and packaging. Standard private-label products and new custom forgings therefore have different minimums. The quotation states the project MOQ.
Will we approve a sample before mass production?
Yes. The required sample or first-article checks are agreed in the project plan. Production starts after the defined approval is complete.
What happens when new tooling is required?
The tooling type, cost, timing and trial plan are quoted before work begins. The project moves to sampling only after trial parts meet the agreed drawing and inspection requirements.
What quality records can be supplied?
The document package is defined by the product and order. It may include material verification, dimensional results, heat-treatment or finish records, visual inspection, marking and traceability data, and specified load or proof-test records.
Can you add our logo and retail or industrial packaging?
Private-label marking and packaging can be reviewed for the selected product. Send the logo, label, carton, manual and pallet-mark files with the inquiry so costs and approvals are included in the plan.
