MINI HAND CHAIN HOIST DRAWING
MINI CHAIN HOIST SPECIFICATIONS
Compare the two MINI models below, or explore our chain block range for additional rated capacities and model options. The specifications describe the standard configurations; note that rated capacity and test load are different values and should not be used interchangeably, while standard lift and minimum headroom are separate measurements that should be considered independently when selecting a model.

CHOOSING BETWEEN MINI-0.25 AND MINI-0.5
Capacity and Load
Determine the maximum lifted load, including any below-the-hook attachments supported by the hoist. The MINI-0.25 is rated at 250 kg (0.25 metric tonne), and the MINI-0.5 is rated at 500 kg (0.5 metric tonne). Do not select a model based on the test load.
Lift and Headroom
The MINI-0.25 has a standard lift of 2 m and a listed minimum headroom of 215 mm. The MINI-0.5 has a standard lift of 2.5 m and a listed minimum headroom of 255 mm. Before ordering, check the available suspension height, required hook travel, and clearance above the load against the applicable model drawing.
Weight and Handling
The listed net weights are 3.5 kg for the MINI-0.25 and 4.5 kg for the MINI-0.5. A compact chain hoist may be easier to carry between maintenance locations, but compact size does not reduce the need for a properly rated suspension point and a planned lifting arrangement. Longer chain configurations affect the overall weight.
Hand Chain or Lever Operation?
The MINI series is operated by pulling a hand chain. If the application requires lever operation, compare a mini lever hoist instead. Hand chain hoists and lever hoists use different operating mechanisms and must be selected according to their own specifications and operating instructions.
APPLICATIONS AND INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
A miniature chain hoist can be used for intermittent vertical lifting during workshop maintenance, equipment assembly, and component installation. Before use, confirm the total lifted load, supporting structure, hook seating, and operator access. A compact housing does not by itself make the hoist suitable for every restricted-space installation.
Describe the operating environment in your inquiry, including expected moisture, temperature, and chemical exposure. Do not assume that the standard model is suitable for corrosive, explosive, or other special-service environments. Follow the applicable model instructions and keep personnel clear of suspended loads.
INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
Follow the operating manual for pre-use checks and specified inspection intervals. Check the identification markings, chains, hooks, and housing for damage or abnormal conditions. Our chain block inspection checklist provides additional inspection context. Remove damaged or malfunctioning equipment from service for assessment.
Use only the lubrication and service procedures specified for the model. See our chain block maintenance guide for general maintenance topics. Replacement parts and load chain must match the approved specification for the exact model.
FAQ of Mini Hand Chain Hoist
Does the MINI Chain Hoist Require Electricity?
No. The MINI-0.25 and MINI-0.5 are hand-chain-operated hoists. They still require an appropriately rated suspension arrangement.
Is a 250 kg Hoist the Same as a 500 lb Hoist?
No. 250 kg and 500 lb are different load ratings and are not equivalent. Select the MINI-0.25 by its 250 kg rated capacity, not by a 500 lb label.
Can I Request a Longer Lift?
Include the required lift (hook travel) and hand-chain drop in your inquiry. Availability, chain configuration, unit weight, and packing must be confirmed for the proposed order.
What Is the Lifting Speed?
The MINI series is manually operated, so lifting speed depends on the operator and the lifting arrangement. It is not a powered hoist with a fixed motor-driven lifting speed.
Which Technical Documents Should I Request?
Specify the technical datasheet, dimension drawing, operating manual, and any inspection, test, or compliance documents required for the order. Confirm document availability and model applicability before purchase.
