MINI LEVER HOIST SPECIFICATIONS
Use the model specifications below to check standard lift, minimum headroom, net weight, and rated capacity for the selected hoist. The table shows standard configurations; the test load is not the rated capacity and must not be used as the working load, so always plan the task using the rated capacity marked on the hoist. For other series and capacities, compare our lever hoist range.
| Specification | MINI-0.25 | MINI-0.5 |
|---|---|---|
| Rated Capacity (kg) | 250 | 500 |
| Rated Capacity (t) | 0.25 | 0.5 |
| Standard Lift (m) | 1 | 1.5 |
| Test Load (t) | 0.375 | 0.75 |
| Minimum Headroom, Hmin (mm) | 215 | 255 |
| Operating Effort at Rated Capacity (N) | 125 | 180 |
| Number of Load-Chain Falls | 1 | 1 |
| Net Weight (kg) | 2 | 3.5 |
| Extra Weight per Meter of Additional Lift (kg) | 0.35 | 0.55 |
DIMENSIONS AND OPERATING CLEARANCE
Dimensions are in millimeters. Match the dimension letters to the model drawing. Minimum headroom is only one installation dimension; the housing, hooks, and lever also require adequate clearance throughout the intended movement.
| Drawing Reference | MINI-0.25 (mm) | MINI-0.5 (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| A | 75 | 90 |
| B | 116 | 135 |
| C | 41 | 51.5 |
| D | 157 | 180 |
| E | 18 | 24 |
| E1 | 15.5 | 21 |
| Φ | 25 | 32 |
SELECTING A MINI LEVER HOIST
Load and Required Travel
Establish the maximum load or required line force for the intended task. For lifting, include the weight of any attachments supported below the hook. MINI-0.25 has a standard lift of 1 m, while MINI-0.5 has a standard lift of 1.5 m. State the required travel when it differs from these standard configurations.
Operator Position and Lever Clearance
A compact lever hoist still requires a usable lever arc. Check nearby walls, pipes, machinery, and guards before selecting the model. Provide a sketch or photograph if the operator must work around an obstruction. Do not select the hoist based on minimum headroom alone.
Portability and Load-Chain Configuration
The standard net weights are 2 kg for MINI-0.25 and 3.5 kg for MINI-0.5. Additional lift increases the required load-chain length and total handling weight. Specify the exact lever-operated model when ordering parts or replacement load chain. A matching capacity or similar model code does not establish interchangeability.
Lever Operation or Hand-Chain Operation?
If you need a compact hoist operated through a separate hand chain, review the MINI hand chain hoist instead. Our lever hoist vs chain block comparison explains the differences in operator position and clearance. Compare each model using its own lift, weight, and dimensional drawing.
APPLICATIONS AND LOAD DIRECTION
Typical inquiries involve workshop maintenance, equipment installation, and small-component positioning. Describe the actual movement rather than relying on a general application label. Lifting, pulling, and tensioning can impose different requirements on the anchorage points and connections.
Confirm that the exact MINI model is approved for the intended task and load direction. Horizontal or angled use must not be assumed from the lever-hoist name alone. Keep the applied force aligned with the approved load path, and avoid side loading of the housing or hooks.
OPTIONS AND ORDER REQUIREMENTS
Include any requirements for additional lift, markings, color, packaging, or destination-market documentation in your inquiry. Availability and the final configuration are subject to model and order review. Requests involving chain grade, material, coating, or overload protection are configuration changes, not interchangeable cosmetic options.
State any requirements related to moisture, temperature, chemical exposure, or hazardous areas. A standard compact hoist must not be assumed to provide corrosion resistance or hazardous-area suitability. Obtain written confirmation of the proposed configuration before purchase.
INSPECTION AND SERVICE
Follow the supplied model manual for pre-use checks, functional checks, and inspection intervals. Confirm that markings are legible, and inspect the load chain, hooks, latches, housing, and lever mechanism for damage or abnormal conditions. Use the lever hoist inspection checklist for additional inspection planning, not as a substitute for model-specific acceptance criteria.
Remove damaged or malfunctioning equipment from service for assessment by a competent person. Do not improvise parts substitutions or return the hoist to service based only on an informal light-load trial. Repairs and any required post-repair checks must follow the approved procedure.
FAQ
What Capacities Are Available?
The MINI lever hoist is available in two rated capacities: 250 kg (0.25 t) and 500 kg (0.5 t). Note that 250 kg is not equivalent to 500 lb.
Does a MINI Lever Hoist Require Electricity?
No. The operator moves the load by repeated lever strokes. Suitable anchorage, connections, and operating access are still required.
Can It Be Used in a Tight Space?
Only if the complete installation has adequate clearance. Check minimum headroom, body dimensions, hook seating, and lever movement. A compact housing alone does not establish suitability.
Can I Request a Longer Lift?
State the required lift or travel in your inquiry. The load-chain configuration, availability, final weight, and packing requirements must be confirmed for the proposed order.
How Fast Does It Move the Load?
This is a manual hoist, not a motor-driven unit with a fixed lifting speed. The movement rate depends on the operator, load, and mechanism. Discuss the required travel, intended duty, and frequency of use when selecting the model.
What Warranty and Documents Are Included?
Request the written warranty terms for the quoted order. Also specify the data sheet, dimensional drawing, operating manual, and any test or compliance documents you require. Confirm their scope and availability before ordering.
REQUEST A MINI LEVER HOIST QUOTE
Send the exact lever-hoist model, or the required rated capacity, lift or travel, quantity, and delivery destination. Include the task, load direction, anchorage, available headroom, lever clearance, and operating environment. Add documentation, marking, and packaging requirements so the quotation can cover the complete arrangement.
